Homage to Charlotte Salomon
Charlotte Salomon was a young Jewish-German artist, who sought refuge from the Nazi-regime in the South of France. During these years, she painted more then 1000 gouaches about her life.
In 1943 the Nazis caught up with her. 26 years old and pregnant, she was transported to Auschwitz and killed.
